Re: Pump down, Emergancy call

The old style Wayne diesel dispenser (or single product) with the SC86 computer base was real bad with customers hanging up the hoses wrong. The fuel outlets were on the sides, and could easily be crossed. After many late night calls for all diesel down, I started putting on the pump numbers over the...

Re: Veeder-root liquid sensor

In 1987 I had a odd issue at a site and opened the trough. It was dark inside it and just as I started to stick my hand inside it, I saw mouse droppings on the bottom of the trough and stopped. I went a got a flash light and found the #8 main wires had been chewed to the copper in many places. I may...

Re: Wanye Ovation Strange Underrun/Slowflow Issue.

I had too many issues where 1 check valve error showed up,and changed just 1 and a week later the error would show up for the other check valve. So for a year now I replace both at the same time. That’s probably why I have not run into this. Thanks for the update.

Re: Sam's Club EMV upgrades

One has been working for a month with no issues, and yesterday the alarm went off, I reset it and 5 min later it went into alarm again. So now I have 1 on order. The site I did earlier this week had smart security board fails, one dispenser had been up and running for 1hr plus, we started on the next...

Re: How bad is corrosion in the field?

We just replaced a diesel STP pipe a month ago at a site that was built in 2014. We have a truck mounted crane and sometime we wonder if it’s going to rip the bung out of the tank because of the debris in the riser. We lube and turn what’s left of the pipe. Other tech’s tell me the wires snap and th...

[quote Why on this green earth would anybody purchase this combo new. I can understand pos or pumps being replaced by themselves, but as a combo? [/quote] That way, when there is an issue,(there WILL be issues) Gilbarco can blame Wayne and Wayne can blame Gilbarco, leaving the tech and customer drip...

Re: Ruby only with Gilbarco Graphics

Having issue with a prompt at the pump saying "lift handle" after ruby reload. Cant remember where to change it. Handle on pump is set to "NO". Idle prompt is "PRESS PAYMENT KEY". Once the pump is approved whether by prepay, postpay or pay at the pump it displays "LIFT HANDLE TO BEGIN FUELING". The...

Re: Sams Club CAT sticking at "Cancelling Please Wait"

Did a EMV upgrade at a Sam's Club recently. Shortly after the upgrade fueling point #2 CAT screen got stuck on "Cancelling Please Wait". At this point a reboot did not help. Swapped the SCD module with #1. The next day the issue returned on #2. Went back and swapped the SPM and the cable between SP...
