Re: Commander stuck on "starting app"

Just an FYI - when replacing the SATA-DOM, you usually have to do a "dd load" - not a huge deal, but just throwing it out there

Re: Commander stuck on "starting app"

SATA DOM (ICM149-002-01-C)

I highly suggest downloading the Commander Hardware guide. All the individual parts are listed and an explanation of various status codes. In my experience when the Commander is stuck on Starting Application - 90% of the time the status is b1 (unable to detect SATA DOM)

3 years later - have seen this countless times now. Replacing the SATA-DOM works more often than not.

Re: Forecourt EMV question

Verifone just had a webinar about this. Currently only available for Buypass Generic with Flex Pay IV. Will require a BRCM2, and the interesting part is the BRCM2 will hook up to the MNSP switch. Also this is in Beta at several sites. Guy giving the webinar suggested to call your RSM for assistance....

Re: Network Connectivity Issues

Not a big fan of Cybera either, but they work pretty well in Shells and Mobils. From what it sounds like your WAN connection for the SCA-315 is running through a router - I would run cable direct to Comcast. Also, agree with Joe that your Comcast package seems a little week for 25 devices wireless o...

Re: Sending up the bat signal for Xardoz

For example - Car Wash PLU's were not in the back office provider price book. After ripping out the Commander PLU file had to go back and re-enter all non barcode PLUs (ie Fountain Drinks, Coffee, etc..)

This worked like a champ. Too Bad all the manual PLUs got blown away because they weren't in the price book

Re: Apple doesnt work on commander mx 915

Reason I asked is that I recently ran into a weird deal at a BP (thanks to Greg for the assist in getting the right people involved) where Apple pay would work for MC but not Visa. The phone would act as normal, but when processing transaction the pinpad would ask to insert card. VFI was able to pin...

Re: Apple doesnt work on commander mx 915

Need more info - is the MX picking up the NFC and transaction is failing? If so is with both Visa and MC? or Does pinpad not even recognize the phone?

Re: DRB Car Wash controller

I have some experience w/ DRB and Verifone - but they all still needed a Unitech controller.
