We are currently seeking to fill a position for a Service Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Service Managers role is to lead, plan, manage, and train the service technician team. The service manager must be able to schedule service projects, determine what parts & equipment is needed, work closely with the service technicians, and enter sales orders/quotes for new jobs.

• Lead, manage, plan, and train the service department, current and new employees.
• Delegate responsibility, inspect work, keep accurate records.
• Clearly assigning jobs to other service members on the team
• Ability to manage the service calendar effectively.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, efficiently, and in budget.
• Enter sales orders and quotes in the system.
• Talk to customers over the phone, via email or in person on jobsite (sales counter occasionally) to take orders and resolve any questions.
• Send documents to customers upon request (invoices, statements, receipts, product literature, etc.).
• Provide customer pricing and information regarding products we sell.
• Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
• Escalates issues to supervisor when necessary and appropriate.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by upper management.
• Will work closely with the outside sales dept team for engineering large service projects.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Previous Management position preferred.
• Clean driving record
• Previous Sales experience.
• Petroleum Equipment Handling experience & Product knowledge is a plus.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Have excellent follow up skills to ensure highest levels of customer service and quality craftmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and accept responsibility.
• Comply with all company policies.
• Able to follow instructions given by upper management.
