Job Description

Our company designs, builds, and maintains fuel sites for the trucking industry on a nationwide basis.
As a member of our project management team, you will oversee all aspects of nationwide commercial projects from design to completion. You will manage these projects in a manner that exceeds our customers’ expectations and ensures that our work adheres to all company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements.
This position manages an electrical engineer and draftsman.
Travel is less than 30%

Job Specifics

• To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals
• Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting and reporting
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Work in conjunction with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) during project design and installation
• Oversee pre-construction meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field
• Collaborate with prefabrication and design departments
• Set clear goals and expectations to Subcontractors
• Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns
• When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects
• Manage projects’ closeout procedures
• Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement
• Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry

Desired Skills and Experience
• Master Electrician
• Bachelor’s Degree (electrical engineering degree a plus)
• 7 years successful Electrical PM experience (large job experience and OSHA 30 a plus)
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• CAD experience a plus
• Petroleum Equipment experience a plus

We are currently looking to fill a Fueling Project Manager position located in Estero FL. Please see the job posting below, please contact me if interested.

Job title:
Project Manager, Fueling Group

The position will be located in our Estero, Florida HQ.

General Responsibilities:
Looking for experienced team player with fuel/lubrication systems knowledge and good project /program management experience to work in our fueling group. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Storage tank compliance including EVR/secondary containment upgrades/release detection
•New Installs/upgrades above and below ground storage systems, consolidated facilities
•Communicate project updates to Program Manager and Operations Management
•Coordinate closeouts and manage job documentation on an online Environmental Compliance System
•Manage MSA vendors/pump and tank contractors and equipment procurement
•Manage environmental survey projects
•Provide SME to other business units within Hertz Corporation and externally
•NTC and NOV resolution
•Provide estimating and capital expense planning and management for regional budgets
•Some travel with the continental US
•Provide operations support for location manager and fuel and lube oil system end users

Mandatory Requirements
Educational Background:
(4) Year degree required. Preferably Environmental Science, Engineering or related major.

•Minimum 5-7 years Project Management experience required.
•Experience with underground/aboveground storage tank systems strongly desired.
•Knowledge of Storage Tank system design, installation/removal, operation and/or maintenance preferred.

•Ability to multi task and reprioritize
•Excellent oral and written skills
•Must be able to work independently with minimal daily supervision while maintaining superior productivity.
•Solid Organization skills a must.
•Ability to negotiate with various entities including governmental officials and contractors.
•ICC UST/AST certifications a plus
•Must be proficient in Microsoft office products, especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
