Losing my Service Laptop

Post by Techie » Thu Dec 19, 2019 11:21 am

The day has come, my company is replacing my laptop. I am not a happy camper on this one, and they are insistant on trading mine in for a new one. Are you guys having issues with Windows 10? I am using mainly Veeder Root interface software. Inform, and Device installer are my main 2 apps. Feedback please

I haven’t had any issues with device installer, or any Verifone or Wayne programs with windows 10.

generally just make sure you have admin rights if possible on the laptop so if you need to install something you can. like java updates or putty and telnet. nothing worse than getting in the field and you cant install something because its managed.
if it was working before you got there...and now its not...its likely something you did that broke it.

Thanks Guys!

I will make sure I have admin rights to allow program instalations as admin. I am happy Windows 10 works with without issue.
