Wayne 12 STM Status: Device Removal

One of my pumps showing on a DCR Screen STM Status: Device Removal
I can enter Pump Code to Enter into an operation mode, now it Is giving me a Random Challange Code, and it is showing me that when ready to enter code, press Ready. How do I fix this??

An authorized service tech needs to use the challenge code through the Wayne service web site and generate the proper code to continue.

RANDOM CHALLANGE CODE IS A SCAM BY WAYNE. WAYNE WANTS YOU TO PAY TO TECH FOR THE 10 MINUTES JOB.

YOU DO NEED A TECH YOUR ON SITE.

IT IS VERY SIMPLE STEP, HOWEVER, WYANE WOULD NOT ALLOW YOU TO DO THAT YOURSELF. ALL TECH DOES IT, THEY GO TO WAYNE WEBSITE, ENTER THE RANDOM CHALLANGE CODE AND IN RETUNRS IT SHOW THEM A CODE. THEY ENTER THAT CODE INTO USING KEY NEXT TO DCR. ANY COMPUTER LITERATE PERSON SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THIS. SOME REASON, WAYNE WOULD NOT ALLOW THE PUMP TO SHOW THE CODE. I HOPE WAYNE PERSON IS READING THIS AND CHANGE THE SOFTWARE TO GENERATE CODE INSTEAD OF RANDOM CHALLANGE CODE. IT COSTING TO THE SITE FOR TECH VISIT FOR NO REASON THAN STUPID CODE. IT IS TEN MINUTE JOB THAT COST SITE MORE THAN $400.

You should get Wayne certified if you don't like the process. This is part of the EMV compliance and Gilbarco has the same type of thing.
I call Bull $hit on the $400 cost for a 10 minute job, Lets see that work order.

1st, It is not Wayne's fault that you have to call a service tech to repair the problem.
2nd, they are not going to change their software so that anybody can enter the code
3rd, they do not have any say on how the process works. All of the dispenser manufacturers, and service companies procedures are dictated by the guidelines mandated by PCI.
