If you've recently joined, here are some tips you might find useful:
- Your first three posts will require approval of a moderator before they appear live to the public. This probationary period is required to weed out spammers. We realize it's a pain. But trust me, we don't like it any more than you do!
- You must validate a new account by clicking the link in that welcome email we sent you. If you did not receive the email check your junk mail or spam folder. If you still can't find it try resending the activation email.
- To ensure delivery of all emails from the forum we recommend you "whitelist" our domain (pei.org), or at least firstname.lastname@example.org. If you don't know how, check this helpful article from WhatCounts: How to Whitelist Email.
- Keep your email up to date! The forum provides a way to send you notifications when a topic is updated, another member wants to contact you or important announcements from the forum moderators. To make sure your account remains active please make sure you have a valid email address in your profile. To check this setting- and many more- refer to the User Control Panel.
