I have heard rumors of the deadline being pushed back to 2022. What do you think?

Banks are sending out notices as I have received one already and likely as we speak. It is my understanding that newly encrypted cards at least temporally will require customers to use an assigned code debit and or credit even if the retail site has not been upgraded. Banks are really pushing hard to unload unauthorized card use as soon as possible.

I have heard from a few Majors... Deadlines are ment to be delayed

These things never get delayed and due to the MAJOR importance of EMV, must totally come out on time! (I voted for Delayed 8-) )
