This happened to me at a BP station after upgrading to base 53 on the commander. After the upgrade and initialization all 8 contactless readers were bricked. I was told by another tech that I should have upgraded all the IX firmware before the commander upgrade. Not sure which manufacturer to point...

Couple of notes here. It's called a console. Counseling is what people need when needing updated on POS's. Wayne has dropped Nucleus years ago and would never do EMV. Honestly it sounds like the contractor you got out there did you a disservice. This message is displayed either when you have a bad card reader but mostly due to emv not being initialized. Saying the network was unavailable? That message is always shown when closing outside the allowed times and also when you close daily more than once in a 24 hour period. Also, 3.10.43 is a disservice to your costumer. No one should be on that software anymore.

Gilbarco doesn’t not clamp the card, it just tells you to leave card inserted and cancelled the sale of card is removed too soon. If you are unable to ping 10.5.55.71-10.5.55…… then it’s most likely omnia or UPM not having ip’S or ids set up properly.
