Project Manager -- Downstream Petroleum
JGD Associates requires a Project Manager in Avon Lake, Ohio. Job Duties: Effectively manage the design, construction and installation of petroleum systems from beginning to completion. Supervision/coordination of employees. Inspection of work, system commissioning and performance testing. Act as a key contact with the client throughout project execution. Manage overall budget, cost, quality, schedule and safety to meet the project objectives, and support a professional installation. Communicate with team members, subcontractors and client's staff on project scope, objectives, accountabilities and commitments. Manage Client programs as required and be responsible for budget, progress, and communication.
Successful Candidates requirements:
• 5-10 years of experience in downstream petroleum with field experience.
Strong work ethic and willingness to maintain an effective schedule that matches the needs of the client and the project. Travel possible.
• Flexible and strong facilitator and problem-solver with a positive 'can-do' attitude, looking to be part of a growing, hard-working team.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with effective interpersonal skills and experience communicating with people internally and externally, including city/county permitting offices and inspectors, as well as, subcontractors. Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to read and understand civil plans, along with the ability to write and understand contracts is required.
• Knowledge of Standard Building Codes, along with the NEC Code, NFPA30, NFPA 30a, NFPA 58 and the ability to reference codes as required.
• Knowledge of Building materials and techniques, Industry software (i.e. AutoCAD, SolidWorks.) as well as MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Project Management Certification, BUSTR certification and/or OSHA Certification a plus.
• PE Licensure a plus but not mandatory
