Ruby dcr comm issue

Power outage cause my Ruby system to read dcr 2 poll error and both card readers on dispensers continue to beep 3 times and read please pay inside. Repair technician claims we have to upgrade the whole system or find a gilbarco technician. Can't seen to locate one in our area. Really need a diagnosis for insurance but the tech just sent me a estimate for new system. Using standalone for now. Please help i feel like I'm being strong armed into upgrading. I'm in northeast South Dakota

#1- have you called Verifone? They will probably reboot your system. If you have not done that give it a try.

Dispenser card reader beeping three times indicates failed EPP, keypad needs replaced.

Its not communicating that is what the beeping means.

He said 3 beeps, I was thinking he meant 3 beeps on power up which indicates bad EPP keypad. Yes, a continuous steady beep indicates no comms.
