Won't take the scammers long to change the default network id to circumvent that I wouldn't think.

Besides tearing out your card readers, you could install a Defender One by Loxahatchee. It is a UL Listed alarm kit available for most dispensers.
It works with Wayne and Gilbarco dispensers. De-activates the dispenser when a breach is detected and sets off a siren. It can be monitored remotely, and installed by your favorite qualified petroleum contractor.

An alarm for fuel dispensers is all ready available. The Defender One is UL Listed and Patented protection. It prevents UN-authorized persons from opening your dispensers. It puts a painfully loud siren inside of every dispenser and disables the dispenser upon breach. The National Institute of Weights and Measure recommends this practice. More info can be found at https://www.loxahatcheeelectronics.com/.
Works with Wayne and Gilbarco. Contact your local service provider, make sure the device they are installing is UL Listed.
or call 800-224-6249 and we can guide you to an authorized installation agent in your area.
