Expired date on a hanging hardware component?

The date referes to the time where an expected safe flow rate of fuel into is expected for a predicted matrix of vehicles to expire.

An example being that the speed of (flow rate) vehicle fueling systems may or may not be compatible with a "some time in the future" set overall matrix of vehicles using the equipment.

The date really has nothing to do with a nozzle or break away fitting components ability to preform as initially designed.
When you are dead it's likely you won't know it. It could be difficult for others. It's the same if you are stupid.

At least the oddly located breakaway did its job.
