So for my first one, here was my experience. They were FlexPay IV with AFP boards.
1) Replace AFP with DCM 2.2's
2) Install scanners but dont hook em up
3) Install BRCM 2.1

Issues we encountered:
1) DCM 2.2's did not come with jumpers. We were lucky enough to have some on hand.
2) BRCM did not have any sort of power transformer inside to receive incoming power. So we had to make a hybrid Dbox (back) with BRCM (front)
3) Bring extra various wire nuts

We got done weedin through all the unknowns and hardware installation around 1am, at which time Costco told us "sorry not enough time to start software, need to do some reverts. So we had to undo our frankensteins monster of a brcm and make it back to a plain DBox, leave the DCM 2.2's in, but change the 2 wire config from Yel/Yel to Red/Blue, and remove the jumpers we added J3 & J12.

A 2nd trip to do just software is being planned with their engineers.

So for future advice to those who havent had the pleasure yet
1) Inspect your BCRM (take it apart)
2) Make sure you have plenty of jumpers for your boards prior
3) Make sure Dispensers are installed with DCM 2.2's prior to software install day.
4) Again, bring wire nuts :P
