Refresh my memory

Post by veritech10 » Mon May 13, 2019 4:24 pm

Shell ruby ci location, first pinpad logins and has correct prompts but won't read chip cards. I vaguely remember wincor having to do something but I could be way off base as I don't service many shell locations anymore. I know the typical reload of files in order cures a lot but wanted some input. ThAnks

It's a new pinpad, it was preloaded for the site, it's got correct version in it, but with it being preloaded I'm thinking it might need a fresh reload potentially that way I know it's correct. I wasn't on site with it but customer called me and my mind was hitting a blank today. Appreciate the input fellas!!

I don’t think it will work until Wincor sends the EMV file to it.

Im assuming that's a good number to wincor ? I've tried 48 different ones with no success, That's what I was thinking that wincor pushes the EMV initialization but couldn't recall, thanks again!

That is Shell in India I believe. They will finish the load to the pin pad. Get the right person and it does not take long.
