Commander & E700 W/ Omnia Major issues

Post by Lreed » Mon Aug 12, 2019 11:36 am

2 months ago I installed new E700 S dispensers at a marathon w/ a commander. We have installed these pumps on a few other sites with commanders and have not had issues. We Keep getting Recalls stating Card readers aren't working and pumps are not communicating. After swiping a card the screen will turn blue and not give prompts so customers are unable to chose whether or not its a debit card. We have gone through everything, Pumps commander, everything. We even reset all the pumps and reprogrammed as well as swap the commander and completely hand program it. Need some help!!! has anyone else had this issue.

Have you tried pulling the commander & installing a Passport? That's called a permanent fix.

The real solution, barring any misguided posts, is to remove the Encore 700 garbage and install real dispensers.

Passport is an embarrasment on top of an embarrassment.

Sadly few ever learn..................

Commander and UPM needs to be set to 9600 baud. Done more than a few without issue. First one we did left at 4800 default and had issues. MDE 5369C
Be alert - we need more lerts!
