Tank Rats maybe.
When you are dead it's likely you won't know it. It could be difficult for others. It's the same if you are stupid.

Did you mean to say you had a 1/3 hp? Now you have a 3/4 hp? That would explain the issue completely.

Why would one step down a motor size?

Without an adjustable motor column adjusted for the shorter motor the pump would stop pumping 5-inches further from the bottom. Make sure when the dispensers start running slow you still have enough fuel in the tank. If your working off the bottom up and running low typically you may end up toasting another liquid cooled motor. If that happens replace with a 1.5 HP motor.

You may need to call They and tell They to put the right size motor on. Hell unless you asked for a lower volume pump motor I would tell They to drag his ass over and put the right size motor on anyway.

Confirm new parts installed. I have had issues with the new style FE Petro leak detectors (the light aluminum) type. Swap the Leak detector move it to another stp on site. They should also check pressure on both sides....Line side and stp side. Build pressure and close ball / line valve and monitor gauges on both sides.
Curious as to what the original problem was.
